New Country Director of Help in Ukraine

We congratulate Oleksandr Novykov on his election as Country Director of the Help office in Ukraine!

Oleksandr joined Help in early 2023 as a project management specialist. Later, he took the position of project manager and later led the opening of offices in Uzhhorod and Kharkiv. During his time at Help, Oleksandr also managed the implementation of a project funded by the Ukrainian Humanitarian Fund (UHF).

The Country Director has valuable experience in scientific and pedagogical activities. He holds a PhD in Law and is an associate professor of the Department of State Building at the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University. At the start of the full-scale invasion, he lost his apartment in his native Kharkiv and moved to Poltava, where he started working in the humanitarian sector.

“Now I have experience and a strong team, so the main focus for me is to expand our activities in cooperation with local NGOs and strengthen the development of civil society,” says Oleksandr.
