9 new pumps delivered to Odesa CHPP to provide heat to 250,000 residents

Our organisation handed over 9 pumps to Odesa CHP for the rapid start-up of chemical water treatment equipment.

As part of the Emergency Assistance to the Population, Communities and Institutions Affected by the Conflict in Ukraine project, our organisation has provided Odesa CHPP with 9 pumps to quickly launch chemical water treatment equipment. This equipment is critical for the timely supply of heat to Odesa residents this autumn.

Odesa CHPP, which supplies electricity and heat to more than 250,000 residents of Primorsky and Peresypsky districts, as well as educational and medical institutions, has suffered significant damage as a result of shelling. The equipment of the KHARTSYZSK PIPE pump shop, including D320-50 cantilever centrifugal pumps, is out of order and beyond repair.

The new pumps will ensure a reliable supply of chemically treated coolant to the city’s heating network, allowing Odesa CHPP to resume operations quickly and provide heat to the city’s residents.

This assistance was made possible thanks to funding from the German Federal Foreign Office.
