Annual Conference of the German Platform for Ukraine’s Recovery “Voices, Visions, Alliances: Co-Creating Ukraine’s Recovery”

Localization, partnership, and practical solutions for Ukraine’s recovery became key topics of international dialogue, which Help – Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe joined during the Annual Conference of the German Platform for Ukraine’s Recovery in Germany.

Last week, representatives of our organization participated in the Annual Conference of the German Platform for Ukraine’s Recovery, “Voices, Visions, Alliances: Co-Creating Ukraine’s Recovery,” held in Germany. The event brought together representatives of government agencies, international organizations, civil society, and experts involved in Ukraine’s recovery processes.

Ministry for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine – Artem Rybchenko, German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development – Johann Saathoff, Moderator – Alina Nosenko, Nataliia Fiebrig, Nataliya Pryhornytska

During the conference, our organization joined thematic discussions and delivered a speech on the role of localization of humanitarian and recovery assistance. The focus was on practical approaches to supporting local partners, strengthening community capacity, and integrating local organizations into the recovery process.

Separate sessions were devoted to municipal housing policy, sustainable energy solutions, the development of a green economy, and the role of communities and local initiatives in the long-term recovery of the country. The discussions demonstrated a growing demand for concrete, sectoral solutions based on the real needs of affected communities.

Help – Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe’s participation in the conference was an important opportunity to share its own experience, engage in strategic dialogue, and strengthen international partnerships for the effective and inclusive recovery of Ukraine.
