Assistance to Regions: Meetings, New Agreements, and plans

Our organization continues to strengthen cooperation with regions of Ukraine: over the course of two weeks, the Help team held a series of meetings in Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, and Chernihiv regions to identify the most pressing needs of communities and strengthen support in the context of war.

Last week and this week, our organization held three working meetings with the leadership of Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, and Chernihiv regions. The goal was to discuss the current needs of the regions and strengthen cooperation to support communities in the eastern and northern regions of Ukraine.

During the meeting with the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration, the main focus was on energy, water supply, and support for medical facilities.

We offered assistance in the form of fuel for evacuation measures and the work of public utilities, and are also considering the possibility of joining in the restoration of the water tower and providing hospitals with modern diagnostic and anesthesiological equipment.

Last week, we also met with representatives of the Sumy region to discuss ways to support communities and strengthen local services.

This week, we held a similar meeting with the leadership of the Chernihiv region, in particular with the head of the Regional State Administration and his deputy. During the conversation, we discussed expanding cooperation and strengthening support for communities in the region.
