We summed up the year, discussed the challenges faced by regional hubs, and shared practical solutions and fieldwork experience.

Our team joined the annual Shelter Cluster workshop, which took place on 6 and 7 August in Kyiv, bringing together representatives of international and national humanitarian organisations from all over Ukraine.

Participants summarised the Shelter Cluster’s activities over the past year, discussed the challenges faced by regional hubs, and shared technical solutions and field experience.

⠀Among the main topics of the workshop were:

▪️ analysis of feedback results using the CCPM (Cluster Coordination Performance Monitoring) tool;

▪️ presentation of updated technical recommendations for repairing windows in damaged houses;

▪️ practical application of the SIDAR (Self-Implemented Damage Assessment and Repair) tool;

▪️ discussion of barriers and solutions that arise during the coordination of Shelter hubs.

⠀We are happy to be part of a community of organisations that are joining forces to help people affected by the war. Such meetings are not only about plans and reports, but also about lively dialogue, exchange of experience and support between partners.
