Help – Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe and the Poltava Regional Administration have reached preliminary agreements on further cooperation and the joint implementation of initiatives aimed at supporting local communities and enhancing their resilience in the context of the war.
Help – Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe is launching a partnership with the Poltava region to support communities in overcoming humanitarian challenges and strengthening their resilience.
During a working meeting between representatives of Help and the leadership of the Poltava Regional Administration, the parties discussed potential areas of partnership. In particular, they discussed the implementation of humanitarian and social projects aimed at supporting internally displaced persons and other vulnerable groups.

One of the key areas of cooperation is improving living conditions for displaced persons in the region, including the possibility of setting up transit centres for IDPs.
Special attention was paid during the meeting to issues of supporting the region’s energy resilience. Due to the difficult situation in the energy sector, communities require additional resources, particularly fuel and solid fuel, to ensure the uninterrupted operation of utility companies, as well as educational institutions—schools and nurseries.
