Help – Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe continues to participate in key professional platforms that shape approaches to humanitarian response in Ukraine. Participation in the BRIDGE 2025 Forum provided an opportunity to strengthen cooperation with partners, exchange experiences, and discuss the current challenges faced by communities in frontline regions.
Last week, our organization joined the BRIDGE 2025 Forum, an event that brings together humanitarian organizations, government agencies, and experts to jointly seek solutions in the field of responding to the consequences of war and supporting communities.
Representatives of our organization took part in a panel discussion entitled “Saving Others: The Cost and Power of Humanitarian Work in Wartime,” where they discussed the role of humanitarian teams in frontline communities, the challenges of evacuation, and the issue of staff resilience. The panel brought together representatives of local coordination centers and organizations that work daily in high-risk areas.

Participants discussed the real needs of communities, requirements for rapid response, and experiences of working under constant shelling. For Help – Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe, participation in such events is an important opportunity to strengthen inter-organizational coordination, promote coordination of efforts, and represent the needs of the people we support every day.
