Help Participated in a Meeting of the Working Group on Agriculture and Livelihoods

This week, the Help – Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe team took part in a meeting of the FSLC Livelihoods Working Group. We told them how we support people in the affected regions with simple but effective solutions – garden tools, greenhouses and seeds

On 7 July 2025, the Help – Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe team joined a meeting of the Agriculture and Livelihoods Working Group organised by the FSLC cluster. The meeting was held in a hybrid format in Kyiv and online.


As part of the event, Help presented its experience of supporting vulnerable households in Kharkiv, Mykolaiv and Zaporizhzhia oblasts as part of a GFFO-funded project. The presentation covered the following key aspects:

  • focus on supporting people with disabilities, the elderly, single parents and large families;
  • provision of garden tools, greenhouses, seeds and plant protection products;
  • 2,850 aid kits distributed between December 2024 and March 2025;
  • cooperation with local partners: Good Deeds, NGO ‘Shyrokyi Step’ and Safe Sky.

The meeting also discussed FSLC’s winter response, new initiatives in the livelihoods sector and the experience of other humanitarian organisations.
