Meeting of the Alliance for Gender-Responsive and Inclusive Recovery

On June 27, the 1st Meeting of the Alliance for Gender-Responsive and Inclusive Recovery took place.

Kateryna Levchenko, Government Commissioner for Gender Policy, Iryna Postolovska, Deputy Minister of Social Policy, and representatives of more than 40 international organizations attended the event.

The meeting agreed on the structure of the Alliance and a preliminary roadmap for strengthening gender equality in Ukraine.

This initiative is the result of the Ukraine Recovery Conference, which was held in June 2024 in Berlin. The conference brought together governments, international organizations, civil society, and the business community to promote gender equality and women’s empowerment in Ukraine.
