Memorandum of Cooperation: Humanitarian Support and Community Development

Help – Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe in Ukraine signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Regional Development Agency ‘Office of European Integration’ of the Kherson Region.

During a meeting with the Agency’s director, Oleg Kulakevich, and project manager, Artem Solovyov, we discussed joint steps to support the region’s residents and rebuild communities.

The document defines areas of cooperation in the field of humanitarian support and aims to overcome the consequences of the war, improve living conditions for the population, and restore critically important facilities in the region.

The main goals of the partnership are:

  • development of local communities in the Kherson region;
  • assistance to people affected by military actions;
  • supporting critical infrastructure, enterprises and institutions that are important for the functioning of communities;
  • ensuring equal access to assistance and information for all, including people with disabilities.

The memorandum creates a basis for the implementation of joint projects in the Kherson region that will contribute to the restoration of the socio-economic life of communities.
