The Recovery Forum South Vector Brought Together Partners for the Development of Ukraine’s Southern Regions

The Recovery Forum Southern Vector was held in Odesa, bringing together representatives of government agencies, international and civil society organisations to discuss ways to rebuild and support communities in southern Ukraine.

Our team took part in the Rebuild Together South Vector forum, which took place on 10 October in Odesa.

The event was organised by the Kherson Regional Administration and the Regional Development Agency ‘Office of European Integration’ of the Kherson Region with the support of the UNHCR.

The aim of the event was to create a platform for dialogue between the authorities, communities and international partners. Among the participants of the forum were Iryna Vereshchuk, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, Matthias Schmale, UN Humanitarian Coordinator in Ukraine, as well as representatives of ministries, the Verkhovna Rada, international organisations and humanitarian missions.

We took part in panel discussions on the role of international organisations in the process of recovery, community development and strengthening partnerships, joined the discussion on the challenges and prospects for rebuilding the south, and presented our experience of implementing humanitarian projects in the Kherson region.
