Objective of the Position
To support the organization’s communication and public relations efforts by creating high-quality visual content, assisting with PR activities, and enhancing visibility and awareness of the organization’s humanitarian work.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Capture and edit professional photos and videos documenting the organization’s activities, events, and human interest stories.
- Conduct field visits to project sites to gather visual content while ensuring privacy, dignity, and consent.
- Create engaging multimedia materials for social media, websites, newsletters, and reports, adhering to branding guidelines.
- Maintain a digital archive of visual assets for easy access and use in communications.
- Assist in organizing press events, donor visits, and campaigns, providing photography and videography services as needed.
- Assist in the preparation of visuals for reports, donor updates and presentations, as well as creating infographics and visuals for social media posts;
- Ensure compliance with security protocols and ethical standards while working in field locations.
Qualifications
- Experience in photography and videography, preferably in humanitarian or development settings.
- Proficiency in editing tools such as Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Lightroom, or similar software.
- Strong visual storytelling and content creation skills for social media and other platforms.
- Understanding of public relations, branding, and media engagement principles.
- Ability to work in challenging environments, including conflict-affected areas, and travel as needed.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Fluency in Ukrainian and English is required.
