Visit of colleagues from Germany to Ukraine

This week, the Help – Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe team in Ukraine hosted colleagues from the head office who came on a working visit to evaluate the implemented projects and further strategic planning.

This week, the Help in Ukraine team hosted colleagues from the head office, including representatives of the Program Management and Coordination Department. They came on a working visit to evaluate implemented projects and further strategic planning.

During the visit, our colleagues visited

  1. Kyiv – strategic discussions were held at the central office on the challenges, achievements of the organization and further humanitarian initiatives.
  2. Poltava – the delegation met with the city administration, including the mayor and deputy mayor, and visited the facilities supported by our humanitarian programs.
  3. Kharkiv – The guests saw the extent of the city’s destruction, visited the Kings children’s football school, which is supported by Help, and the city’s student hospital, which received three lung ventilators. They also met with local NGOs, including the Safe Sky Charitable Foundation, and attended a training session that the foundation is conducting with the support of Help. In addition, the delegation attended the distribution of agricultural kits in the Vilkhivka community of Kharkiv Oblast and discussed future project activities with The Relief Coordination Centre, which will begin on March 1.
  4. Staryi Saltiv – Help representatives got acquainted with the projects implemented together with partners from the NGO Good Deeds aimed at supporting local communities

This visit was an important step in strengthening cooperation, evaluating the effectiveness of projects and planning further initiatives to support affected communities.
