This week, our colleagues from the head office of Help – Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe in Germany visited Ukraine.
Over four days, we held a series of fruitful meetings, where we discussed the vision of future activities and shared the results of existing projects.
Our colleagues from Germany attended meetings at the German embassy in Ukraine and the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in Ukraine. They also monitored visits of entrepreneurs who received grant aid and to the Kyiv Railway Transport College, where windows were recently restored with the assistance of Help.
Together with local partners from the Ukrainian Business Council, the NGO Divchata, the NGO Avalist, and the Ukraine Assistance Organization, a workshop on advocacy issues was held.
The new Country Director of Help in Ukraine was also introduced.
