A Step Towards Supporting Entrepreneurship: The Application Assessment Phase is Complete

The programme team is continuing to implement the initiative to support entrepreneurship in Ukraine, moving on to the next stage following the completion of the assessment of participants’ applications.

The programme team has completed a key stage in the implementation of the grant initiative — the processing and assessment of the applications received. A total of 422 applications were received from entrepreneurs seeking to resume their business activities and restore their income, which had been disrupted by the war.

Participants who passed the preliminary selection have already received notifications with information regarding the next stages of participation in the programme.

Interviews with the selected applicants are currently underway. This stage allows us to gain a more detailed understanding of the entrepreneurs’ activities, assess the current state of their businesses, and discuss plans for recovery and development with the support of grant funding.

We are grateful to everyone who submitted an application and demonstrated an interest in developing their own business. Ahead lie the next stages of the programme, aimed at supporting entrepreneurship and restoring economic capacity.
