Last week, the Help – Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe team in Ukraine welcomed colleagues from the head office, including representatives from the programme management and coordination department. The visit was organised to evaluate completed projects and to carry out further strategic planning.

As part of the visit, a working meeting was held with the Regional Development Agency ‘Office of European Integration’ of the Kherson region. The parties discussed the key needs of the region’s de-occupied communities, current challenges, and priority areas for further cooperation.

Particular attention was paid to issues of improving the energy resilience of communities and implementing long-term approaches to the region’s sustainable development.

Help – Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe continues to work with partners to strengthen community capacity and create the conditions for their effective recovery.
