Representatives of Help – Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe in Ukraine took part in the 10th Coordination Meeting of the SME Resilience Alliance, where they shared their experience in supporting entrepreneurs affected by the war and discussed next steps to strengthen Ukraine’s economic resilience.
At the end of last month, Help – Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe in Ukraine participated in the 10th Coordination Meeting of the SME Resilience Alliance, which brought together representatives of the Government of Ukraine, the governments of partner countries, international financial institutions, and humanitarian and development organizations working to support Ukraine’s economic resilience.

During the event, strategic priorities for the development of the SME sector were presented, along with the results of a financing needs analysis and an overview of international support programs. Participants paid particular attention to coordinating current and future initiatives by international partners.

As part of the discussion, Help – Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe shared its own experience in supporting entrepreneurs who have suffered as a result of the war and have not yet been able to rebuild their lives or restore their sources of income. A vision for the further development of this area was also presented. Our experience demonstrates that the need for support remains extremely high, and effective mechanisms are a crucial component of Ukraine’s economic resilience and recovery.
We thank the organizers for hosting the event and the representatives of governments, international institutions, and partners for presenting their support programs.
