Urgent Support to War-affected Population in Ukraine

Provision of food and hygiene products, medical drugs for medical institutions, veterinary drugs and animal feed to farms.

The project aims to provide emergency relief by delivering basic humanitarian supplies in in-kind like food and hygiene items for the internally displaced population, provide medical supplies to institutions, communities, and individuals, as well as to provide support to Ukrainian farmers by delivering food and medicines for livestock.

During the project it was possible to

  • Deliver 14,400 food parcels to the conflict-affected, internally displaced population in Zaporizhzhia oblast, Kirovohrad oblast, Poltava oblast, Mykolaiv oblast
  • Deliver 14,400 hygiene parcels to the conflict-affected, internally displaced population
  • 145 824 items of medical supplies were delivered to the institutions in Kyiv, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Sumy, and Zaporizhzia oblast.
  • Distribute vaccines for 99 farms in Kyiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, Donetsk, and Chernihiv oblasts. Reached 54,515 cows. This support is to facilitate dairy farmers to sustain dairy production and local supply of raw milk.
  • Together with UAC we provided premixes for 18 farms (13,557 cows supported)

During this project it was possible to support 19 healthcare institutions (18 of them unique), and now procurement assistance is ongoing for five more health care institutions. So far, 170,595 people have supported aid.
