Winter Resilience and Livelihood Empowerment: Strengthening Affected Communities

The project primarily focuses on the most vulnerable households in the south and east of Ukraine who need urgent and timely assistance to mitigate the effects of winter in the context of the ongoing conflict.

Vouchers for animal feed and animal shelter repairs

900 households received vouchers for animal feed in Tsyrkuny, Zolochiv, Staryi Saltiv, Velyka Pysarivka, and Halytsynove communities. 250 small farmers received vouchers for animal shelter repairs in Tsyrkuny, Zolochiv, Staryi Saltiv, Velyka Pysarivka, and Halytsynove communities.

Heating stoves and solid fuel

Heating stoves and solid fuel (2,5 tonnes of briquets) were distributed among 250 households in Tsyrkuny, Zolochiv, Staryi Saltiv, Velyka Pysarivka, Chornobaivka, and Halytsynove communities.

Home Insulation Kits (vouchers)

1082 families received vouchers for home insulation in the Staryi Saltiv, Halytsynove, and Chornobaivka communities. These kits are designed to enhance the insulation of homes, making them more energy-efficient and better equipped to withstand the challenges of winter.

Recovery of Boiler Rooms

Windows and pumps will be installed in boiler rooms in Konstiantynivka, Donetsk region, which serves as a heat source for the entire district.
