As part of a working visit to Ukraine, Rebecca Hecke, the team lead for the organization’s European division, visited the Help – Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe office.
During the visit, meetings were held with the team in Ukraine, and she was briefed on the implementation of current humanitarian projects. Special attention was given to discussing the results of the work, challenges, and future strategic steps.
During an interview, Rebecca Hecke emphasized the importance of direct work with communities and the role of local teams in ensuring effective aid:
