On January 31st, our Country Director, Darya Romanenko, briefed at a parliamentary briefing on the response and recovery of Ukraine, with over 20 participants including representatives of various caucuses of the Bundestag and the German Federal Foreign Office.
With the Federal Comissioner for Human Rights Policy and Humanitarian Assistance, Luise Amtsberg, Darya Romanenko, the Country Director of Help in Ukraine, presented an overview of humanitarian needs.
Ms. Romanenko focused on the importance of protecting the most vulnerable populations, challenges faced by organizations in the territories close to the zone of active hostilities, and security issues affecting humanitarian workers.
